What they needed

Zero to Three is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit ensuring every baby and toddler has a strong start in life. Design Ranch led copywriting and visual design for their 2022 Impact Report; I built the Webflow site that brought the experience to life—shifting from a traditional print annual report to a digital format that could reach a broader audience.

The report, themed "Growing Together," carries readers through fourteen chapters across program highlights, awards, policy wins, and organizational milestones. My work was development in Webflow: translating Design Ranch's designs into the live site, including page transition animations across the full experience.

The problem

Zero to Three had years of rich impact content locked in a print-first format. A static PDF or one long scrolling page would not do justice to the breadth of their work—parenting programs, HealthySteps, Safe Babies, policy advocacy, and more.

The organization also ran a direct-mail campaign with QR codes linking to the digital report. The web experience needed to feel intentional and immersive—not a document dump—while remaining accessible and easy to navigate for board members, donors, and partners arriving from print.

What I built

Design Ranch delivered the full creative direction—copy, layout, and visual design. I developed the chapter-based Webflow experience from their designs: a structured table of contents, animated welcome sequence, and fourteen distinct story sections with page transition animations throughout.

A persistent footer keeps readers oriented—current chapter, quick return to the TOC, and donate CTA—so the report reads like a guided journey rather than a wall of content. The linear format echoes the familiarity of flipping through a print annual report while taking advantage of what the web does well: motion, deep linking, and reach beyond the mailing list.
